Conversion Architecture

A proven process

Hopefully you've read the benefits of Conversion Architecture (CA) and why it works. We'll now go through the process we will take you through, when you chose us to be your conversion copywriting consultant. By the end of this process we will improve your conversion rate and get your customers achieving your conversion goal.

We didn't invent this process, many intelligent internet marketing people did, we have just refined it for the current UK market. Although most of the methodology and techniques remain the same, some of the language used is altered to appeal more to a British customer.

Discovering you

We need to find out who you are and what you do. Sounds simple doesn't it? But it isn't because you're the expert, knowing everything about your business when actually the buyer needs only what is important to them. What we have to find is truly relevant information that will provide a Unique Selling Point or reasons why clients should chose you, now, over your rivals.

Discovering your clients

You might have a good idea of your current clients - it helps us if you do - but we need to discover who are also potential clients and why they don't make it to being clients. We also look at your rivals clients and see why they don't belong to you. In this stage we will also create personas of the typical users of your website, this is probably the most difficult part of the process.

Pathways

During this stage we work out how we can build all the elements that your clients need if they are to be ready to take action and achieve your conversion goal. We create outlines of pages and flows showing how customers will move around your website.

Storyboarding

This is when we sit down with the designers and see what design will fit the journeys we need to take the clients through. Many people make the mistake of designing first - we did when we started out - you simply can't as how do you know who all your current and potential clients are? So this stage enables us, and the designers, to come up with a concept that fits your customers' needs - not the sellers.

Developing

We then develop the whole website and, if wanted, off-line marketing collateral too. They should all form a cohesive message to maximise your business potential.

Refining

We show the new website to a sample of your customers and if possible your potential customers too. We listen to their feedback and modify it to their needs.

Analytics

We constantly measure the websites performance for you and if we see any trends report them back to you, with suggested action if we believe they need any.
